Research content stays local
Datasets, models, projects, calculations, results, reports, and exports are processed on the user’s Windows device. QuickPLS does not upload that content to Microsoft, Cloudflare, Azure, a QuickPLS account service, or a QuickPLS cloud calculation service. Project files and exports remain in locations selected by the user.
Microsoft Store information
QuickPLS asks Windows and Microsoft Store whether the signed-in Microsoft account has an active QuickPLS entitlement and requests Microsoft-supplied product titles, prices, purchase outcomes, and expiry information. Microsoft manages Store identity, payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, licensing, installation, updates, and its own diagnostics under Microsoft’s policies. QuickPLS does not receive Microsoft passwords or payment-card details.
Offline use
After entitlement has been established, analytical work remains offline-first according to Microsoft’s cached-licence behaviour. QuickPLS adds no separate cloud account, telemetry service, grace-period token, or remote project store. Periodic licence validation may require Microsoft Store connectivity.
This website
The public website provides product, legal, support, system-requirement, and documentation pages. It does not accept project uploads or provide a QuickPLS customer account. Ordinary connection information may be processed by the hosting and network providers when a page is requested.
Support and security reports
Public issues can be visible to others. Submit only the minimum privacy-safe information needed to reproduce a problem. Use synthetic or anonymized data and the private security route for vulnerabilities. Do not submit confidential datasets, credentials, verification codes, payment information, or identifiable unpublished research.
User choices
Users choose where project files and exports are stored and whether to submit a support report. Microsoft-account, Store-purchase, cancellation, and payment choices are managed through Microsoft. Uninstalling QuickPLS does not automatically delete user-selected `.qpls` project files.

Use the public support route for privacy questions that contain no sensitive material, or the private security-advisory route for suspected vulnerabilities.
